The Journal of American College of Surgeons (JACS) has featured a 20-plus articles series on palliative care in surgery. These end-of-life issues are written for and by surgeons and edited by Geoffrey Dunn.  Dunn is co-chair of the Promoting Excellence in End-of-Life Care Surgeons Palliative Care Workgroup.
